Hey dudes, i yhave come across a little problem...i have a 302 im building and i got some BBK shorty headers for it...but when i try to bolt them up..the bolt holes really dont line up..funny thing is that these headers are from the exact same engine..i bought the engine from this guy and then he sold the headers to me...has anyone bent headers before? or know how i can get these holes to line up?

If they were on that motor before it's odd for it not to fit. You could have bent the headers but in all the cases that I've had that happen to me is when I warped the heads do to over heating then tried to use the same headers on new set of heads.

How off are they? can you snap a pic or two? they are probably warped, and if it's not that bad, will take a little muscle to get them on..

If the holes aren't off too bad you can drill the holes bigger.

i might just fork over and get some full length headers....if thats the case..would it be hard to sell an o/r BBK h-pipe?
