Well as I can't seem to find the Interior Tech forum I'll post this here, please move if necessary :)

I got some of the Bullitt style pedals and covers for my car a while back and have been having a hell of a time putting the brake and clutch pedal covers on. Have tried boiling them to soften the rubber and then using some WD40-type stuff for lube, but I can't get them on... Anyone have any suggestions or can lend a hand? Would like to get it done soon as one of the stock covers is pretty much worn down to nothing and it would help save me a lot in shoes :)

try dawn dish detergent after boiling them. then put the bottom part of the pedal on and use your foot to work it back and forth till it goes on the rest of the way. i still have to do mine but i found an awesome write-up that says to do it this way. good luck!
