I'm thinking the car would look a lot better if the antenna and its mount were removed and bodywork done to hide the hole. Don't know why they don't put the antenna in the windshield anymore. I don't listen to the radio anyway, but I suppose there may be a way to hide it. Has anyone heard of a kit to do this?

I'll be happy to do the body and paint for ya, but don,t know where you could relocate the ant. Or do you just want to omit it?

I thought about deleting it and running a wire through the A pillar

I guess I could ask Darren to remove all signs of the antenna and then find something down the road to get the radio working again. Might just go with satellite radio anyway.

Ah, satellite. Would you have to put that on your roof or can you hide it somewhere?

I've got my satellite antenna hidden under my rear spoiler.

Or you could turn it into a "shorty" antenna. I removed the little ball on the tip with some vice-grips. I then cut the antenna in half. I then filed down the tip of the 1/2 antenna and hammered the little ball back on it.

I know you can delete it and add another antenna strip to the windshield right under the viper alarm antenna.

You could go to a boat shop (dont laff) and pick up awire antenna. THen you can run it under the dash and never see it. You wont get as good of reception out of the radio.
Like this:
The 2000 Cobra R had an antenna delete option.
It was just a black plastic cap/cover that fit in the antenna hole. Could paint it to match the color of the car.
Don't know if it will fit or not.

this could be done. it in essence is just a coax cable. some clean soldering and shrinktape and it could work for ya. i have one at the shop and i could try it out if someone wants to be the guinea pig

I'm up for being a guinea pig. Just as long as the experimentation is purely alien. Can't have it getting back to the folks back home that I like them hooman girls or they'd disown me.
