View Full Version : Wax removal on plastic trim

I don't know if this is old news for you all but it was new info for me so I'll share--If you've got one of the new Mustangs you've probably had an issue with wax on the door trim. There's a post in "The Mustang Source" that mentioned putting some peanut butter on the trim and it would take out the wax. I've tried this and it works great!

Let us know if it works--don't know if the plastic is different but it might work for you too. Mine looks great now--I gotta get her washed and post pics in the gallery.

this didn't seem to work on the trim piece below the window--it turned black when the peanut butter was applied to it but the next day it was back to the way it was :mad: . Mother's makes a product called "Back to Black" that I'm going to try next--I'll let you know what happens with it.
