Not a good day. Noticed my driver's side door on my 01 F-150 Harely truck was keyed. Actually, it looks like it was done with a stone since it had some white powder residue in the scratch. It's pretty deep too, so I guess I'm going to have to get it repainted. Fortunately it was only the front door.

Anyone work for a body shop know how much to get it repainted?

What color is the truck? That has alot to do with it. Cheap if it happens to be black.
And yeah, sorry to hear that fools are out there vandalizing personal property. Pure stupidity.

Well good, cause it is black. But it does have stripe decals on the bottom.

If the scratch is high enough up the door, the decal can be saved. If not, they arent cheap.

Yeah the scratch is just under the door handle and goes all the way across. How much do you think it would cost to get it repainted? I may even consider getting the back door and bed painted on the driver's side as well since there are some chips and scratches. If that were the case, could the stripes be painted on?
