Went to go get the car started to run some errands and it was dead! Called Gunn and they are having it towed in to the dealership. The guy that towed it think it is an electrical problem. I'm happy it is still under warranty.

Bananahands is going to check on it for me in exchange for some cookies. Thank you Travis!

Guess it is a good thing I didn't drive it to Houston this past weekend. It would have sucked to have it break down out of town.

Did you ever get that harley ride this weekend?

Mary

Nope - no harley ride! I'll live trust me...... :snicker:

Just got a call from the dealership - they won't be able to look at it until tomorrow morning. My daughter said the locks were tripping on and off on thier own yesterday when she drove it. Hmmmm..................

It should be covered - I haven't had the car a year yet - under warranty still.

yeah sounds electrical, i had an old pontiac with power locks and they did that when it would get wet inside to door panels. it sucked the firts time it did it cause i had the keys in the car was just going to run in and run out. so i just waitied till it started to do it again and i opened it before they locked again.

I'm thinking it's either the alternator or your connections to the battery are bad. Oddly enough that was the same thing that happened to my Mustang a couple of years ago. The locks would lock and unlock automatically and eventually the car wouldn't start.

No free car yet. If I don't get it back in by Lunch tomorrow, I'll ask for one. Wonder if they'll let me drive one of the new convertible G6's?

Maybe your car was alittle to intimidated by the BU pulling up in your driveway while Volt dropped you off yesterday. :snicker:

I thought bite me was your real name. LOL
Just kidding. Hope you have a ride till it gets fixed. You actually shoulda called some friends first, I bet it's something simple, and wouldn't need to be towed

Wanted to take advantage of the warranty in case it was something more serious. Don't want Gunn Pontiac accusing me of doing something wrong with it and voiding the warranty.

Oh yeah - Bite me is my middle name..... :bite:

Got my car back! It was a battery issue. He said I could have jumped it but it wouldn't have lasted very long before it died again. They replaced the battery with a new one. All under warranty - no cost to me - they even covered the cost of towing.
